Not to forget Trump will be opening a hotel here in Vancouver later this year in an iconic twisting tower (2nd tallest after the Shangr-La which is across the street). Not sure how Trump will do here -- there certainly is local backlash over him and his name. Incidentally, the hotel is built on a piece of land which very few business have had long term success and has been vacant for as far back as I can remember.

I think Rosewood will be interesting to watch; and perhaps Langham too. I fear Aman is becoming a two tired company -- its marquee properties, and the rest. I stayed at Amanfayun and Aman Summer Palace this summer and Fayun was average and ASP was a disaster.
