Without knowing the country this Amex is issued, I can assure you most, if not all, will not work. Just because your wife is an "authorized" user of your card / limit, does not entitle her to your Membership Rewards.

You can look into transferring them to Avios, where you can have a household shared account. If that's applicable to your Amex.
