I'm looking at using Etihad Guest miles to book seats on their partner airlines. I gather you have to do this by calling the Etihad call centre. However, before that I'd like to know how many Etihad miles are required for the flights - say a mileage calculator - but I don't know where to start.

Are Etihad guest miles 1:1 for the mileage programs of their partners? For example, are 7000 Garuda Indonesia miles the same as 7000 Etihad Guest miles? Can I use the mileage calculator of any airline, as if I'm using Etihad's own?
