What a judgey group you are! What if it was my husband's last 6 months on earth and we wanted to do this trip at all costs? You don't know my circumstances!
Anyway, I didn't think I had to say..but I will. I have a low credit score but a high income. I don't want to pay full fare for 1st class, but buying miles would be easy. I could buy the miles at standard price, and it would still be a steal over full standard fare for 1st class. In fact, it's so much cheaper than the business class I'd typically buy. There's still award availability in february. But my question is, I've seen other trusted places to buy miles from other airlines, but not alaska. Does anybody know of such a place or if alaska will release a miles bonus soon? I've only started paying attention to airline loyalty programs a few months ago.
