It's the flight coding that matters for TP earnings. If you book the BA codeshare for an AA domestic F, you will receive 40/140 TPs (depending on length). If you book the AA prime codes you'll get full F TPs 60/210.
Taking a specific SFO-DFW route as an example: If booked as F in AA2484, you will receive 60TPs. If booked as BA5706 (same flight, just BA's codeshare), you will receive 40TPs.
It is a pretty strange/annoying anomaly.
