I have a pair of yaktrax slip on ice cleats that slip on to your shoes to give you traction on ice etc. Will these be allowed in my carry on or do I have to check them. The TSA website says ice cleats are allowed in both check and carry on but snow cleats are check only. Which do these fall under?
Technically tou should be fine but to be honest TSA enforcement and knowledge of certain things - like this - can be wildly inconsistent, so assuming you value these cleats I wouldn't risk it - check them....
