Apparently the explanation was that her A fare was upgraded coach, not a true F?

Mom's bigger complaint to me was having to hike out to, then out even farther from the penalty box BFE gates @ SLC for the last segment home on a CramRamJam Barbie Jet w/ no F, even though we'd discussed that at booking, she'd just forgotten.
