This is flyertalk, not bank talk I'm pretty sure? As for the OP... EK F is great yes. I've done it many times, and always enjoy the experience. Nonetheless if you jump on the BA site you should check for CX J or F as the availability seems to be a bit better.. Also you would surely save some cash compared to buying miles.. I just got an offer for 35% more miles on purchases.. Check your email? Otherwise pay the full price... Of course before you do this have another browser open, and make sure you can get two F seats all the way through.. Another thing to consider.. Sometimes you can get EY F from say BKK to SFO for around $3600 one way.... So a consideration might be say redeem on CX J to Asia, and buy a ticket home.. EK J is usually around $2800 or so.. J on the A380's is great too.. The difference in F is of course the suite.. The fairly great service provided.. Dining on demand (mediocre food) Top shelf drinks.. I personally went overboard on a recent flight with the drinks... I think F is great if you plan to stay awake a lot.. My last three flights in F recently I was tired, and had no food, and one or two glasses of Dom, and slept.. I might as well have been in J or even Y..
Anyway good luck, keep us updated with what you end up doing!
