There are pros and cons with all-inclusive.
I have seen people complain that they had to pay for things like spa packages or parking even though they didn't have a vehicle.
All inclusive spreads the cost of doing business across all guests, rather than the guests paying for what they use.
An all-inclusive stay keeps you from having to book various things and worry about details. However there may be alternatives. A rental car offered with the package may be twice as expensive than one could book on their own.
I have seen cases where a package includes dinner in a particular restaurant on property. That restaurant is included because people don't normally choose it on their own. There may be reasons for that :-)
