Thanks Ken - the possibility of not having to clear security again by utilizing the shuttle was a major draw. If that's not the case, I may as well use the Airtrain.

I'm pretty sure that's the case (reclearing security) or we would have definitely used the shuttle.
With your arrival at 1300 you're probably going to be fine. Do you have Global Entry? That would be even better. And having a seat near the front of the plane always helps, too.
