TripIt problem
I use TripIt and think that it is a convenient way to store travel data but came across an unexpected and inconvenient problem yesterday.
I departed on my final flight on Friday last. The flight arrived late. My prearranged car was nowhere to be found and I needed to call the company to find out where it was. All my data for the booking was in TripIt on my iPhone and the itinerary was, in TripIt terms, complete and had gone from the phone.
Past trips can be recovered on regular iPads etc and maybe on an iPhone too but in an airport scene surrounded by luggage and so on this is not the time be be researching workarounds on an iPhone.
Perhaps TripIt should consider a buffer period of say 24 hours before a trip is considered complete.
