Considering a TP run to West Coast and it will need an overnight at JFK. Previous times we have done this, we have stayed at airport hotel for an early morning onward departure but one im looking at gets in at 6pm and doesnt fly onwards until 5pm following day so considering staying in Manhattan.

Question i have is that when i retrieve my luggage at JFK from the LHR flight, would i be able to check it in to San Diego and leave it overnight at airport or will I need to use a luggage storage service on airport. If the latter can anyone help with the most convenient one for a BA terminal arrival.
