Seating on JL codeshares is a common problem. Last time I had an AA codeshare I finally resolved it by calling my corporate TA (Amex) and somehow they sorted it. Calling JL will not help. The alternative is calling BA and asking them to get their OneWorld desk to talk to JL's.
