Long story short, I wrote in a complaint to Delta Air Lines and the response I got back, which was dated 12/24, said that I would receive a Delta $75.00 choice gift card within 72 hours from
[email protected] to my E mail address on file. 72 hours goes by and no e mail from
[email protected]. I write in again and the reply said that the gift card was 'consumed' on 12/25. I write in again saying I never got the E-mail and that there must be a mistake on Delta's part. I requested a call back from Delta which, surprisingly, I got this past Friday. The DL rep told me that she was able to confirm that the gift card was sent to my e-mail address on file. I insisted that I never received it and she said as a gesture of good will, she will send me another one but this time, to an alternate address and that I should get it within 48 hours. Guess what, didn't receive that one either. Has anyone heard or has anyone been through something similar? The rep gave me her direct # so I will be calling her back on Monday morning.
Let me add that at no time did I have any of my electronic devices/computers out of my possession. Also, like most of us, as soon as an E mail is delivered to my phone, it gives me an audible and visual alert. Most of the time I always immediately see who the e mail is from. So, I can definitely say I never got anything from Delta, at either E mail address. So, what gives?
