Have you flown any less since 9/11?
Way more than before and I was flying over 35k then.

Do you still fly in the same class as pre 9/11?
No, I have found more ways to upgrade on just about every flight. This is do in part to the fact that my travel budget is converted from CDN to US $$$ and I get the benefit of being able to have higher expenses. Just lucky I guess. That and my boss told me that he knows that business travel sucks and he said that I should be comfortable but to try not to bankrupt the company. I travel 50% more than him and he volunteered that statement

Were you supposed to fly September 11th '01 or the following days after and if so what happened?
I was booked for a flight that morning YVR-YYC and ended up having to keep my rental car and drive home 700 miles. AC refunded the cost of any outstanding flights to its passengers. This offset the one way fee that Avis charged.

None of this really mattered given the tragedy that happened, I'm just giving you the details you asked for.

Did you fly September 11th '02?
No, but I didn't have a need to that day but would have if I needed to be somewhere.

If you need any more details feel free to email me off line. Researching this can't be easy and I would have appreciated any help I could get if I was doing a project like this. Also, my boss is understanding of what business travel really involves which is not always the case.
