My advice would be to check UA. I can usually get fares ORD-HNL for ~1450 and I've seen SFO-HNL for ~1300. It's been my experience that their fares to HNL tend to be better than DL for the markets that I look at and that the service in F is superior to DL as well (at least the food - the FAs can be hit or miss but I just had one of the best crews I've ever experienced in F on a UA SFO-HNL).

That said, Google flights is a great way to compare fares. It's definitely worth checking out.
