Thanks for finding the comments on Row 11. Personally I much prefer the main cabin when it is not full. I would take less than 2/3 full main cabin any flight over the "mini cabin" which I also find it too confined.
Really want to know more about the 77G but i have not found much info even with google search.
On the US-HKG-US portion I am in F and husband in J, currently. Since he does not drink it would be a waste to let him sit in F if only 1F is available!

I put him in 11A now just so it makes easier for me to go back to check on him. May be I can remove him to 12A instead. I dont want to trek thru the mini cabin to get to him if he sits in the main cabin.
Two separate situations here.
On the 777 with first class, rows 11 and 12 are great - quiet and private. Easy access for you to visit from first class. Either row if you can get it probably just fine.
On the 777 without first class (the 77G), the main front cabin is going to be the one of choice, if you can get a seat about mid cabin... it's the place farthest away from the galleys and WCs at each end. On this version only, row 11 has the issues as outlined above.
