On CX site the seat map for business class starts from Row 11 to Row 19 at 1-2-1. Then it has a "mini cabin" at the back from Row 21 to 23, with only middle seats for Row 20. I have never seen such configuration on a CX 77W before. Both Row 11 and Row 21 are blocked on CX site.

On Seatguru when using the exact date and flight, it gives me a 77Z New Regional?! that is 2-3-2 config?

I hope CX seat map in Manage Booking is correct while Seatguru is wrong.

Cannot imagine CX would sub a regional plane for this long route.

In any case, which are the better seats in business cabin on this route? Is 11 and 12 better than 12 and 15? Cannot select 11 online, have to endure long hold time to call CX for 11.
What you describe fits with the 77G seat map on the CX website: http://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_A...300er-77g.html

Seatguru is often out of date for non-US airlines. The CX seat map in Manage Booking is the one to rely on... CX (rather than seatguru) should know which aircraft they are operating

Without first class I wouldn't be chasing a seat in row 11 on the 77G - too close to the front of the aircraft with continued traffic to the front galley and WCs. I'd be picking something in rows 15, 16, 17. The second cabin will have a lot of traffic during boarding and is close to the premium cabin and bassinet seats.
