I had to use it myself after forgetting that I had a suitcase after a very stressful arrival, it can take a long time to get through security as it depends on how many staff are trying to get airside.
Thanks. If (and hopefully it won't come to this!) I have to collect I'll try to grab someone when I get to international arrivals for the second time to avoid having to go through to security again
