None of the 4 mentioned booking channels handle ACV issues, and not all handle eGift cards.
- aircanada.com - doesn't deal with ACV
- at the airport - can't use eGift card. Even if with a regular gift card one cannot pay for the self-serve check-in options and in advance they won't touch something that is ACV.
- travel agent - although agents sell ACV tickets, AFAIK these are not done through the Air Canada TA web portal
- Air Canada Reservations - doesn't deal with ACV, ACV reservations deals with this
