Thank you all for sharing your thoughts on this. You all brought up great points. The dilemma many business travelers face is that if they book third party, they don't get the hotel points. Now let me ask everyone a question, if you could please give your inputs on this, question is: if you could get about 25-35% of your hotel booking amount as cash-back towards airfare upgrades every time you book a hotel(can accumulate cash-backs), and use the cash-backs for such upgrades such as Premium/Business/First class seats anytime you choose to fly, would this be enough of an incentive to book third party and forego your hotel points? Keep in mind the hotel all-inclusive prices will be priced the same or lower compared to any online published rate. Your answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
