Does the fact that they're asking us to shut down the account have any relevance? You'd think for shut-downs, they'd say "We're shutting your account down immediately and will be mailing you a check with your remaining balance." Instead, it's basically putting the burden on us to close the account ourselves.

I realize they've blocked our loads, which effectively kills it, but I wonder if this method was logistically easier for them to shut down a bunch of accounts, and then wait for legit users to appeal the decision...which, maybe, just maybe, would provide a little hope? Clinging to hope here!
