I've recently completed an ex-DUB to HNL and the first sector from DUB to LHR did not have any TPs or Avios credit to my account despite the next five sectors crediting. Ticket was booked through AA.

Logged it via the missing avios form and it came back as rejected - the reason why was because the Avios had already been credited - which was completely incorrect, do they even do a cross reference with what flights have actually been credited to my account? I then called the Gold line who told me I have to complete all sectors on a booking, then eventually the first sector will credit to my account. I felt this sounded fairly dubious, is the agent correct?

Needless to say I have had another two flights not credit since returning so no doubt will have to go through the above all over again.
