Good evening FTers - I am throwing around dates for my March Madness trip to Vegas and I've been checking the United app on my iPhone for the last couple days.

March 16 - March 22 are the dates

I buy first class tickets to up my miles accrual and to jump my PQD up to work towards getting status back.

Here's the weird part...outbound from IAH on 16 March on my iPhone is priced at $380 (flight 1602) and inbound from Vegas were all pretty high in the $475 to $511 range (not counting the red eye which showed $348).

I was searching for threads on United fares being higher than normal because almost $900 for a ride up front between IAH and LAS is high. I have paid $600-700 my last several trips.

So I'm on my iPad now and happened to check the fares again and I see a $376 for the outbound (flight 1602) and much cheaper on the inbound...for example $352 for flight 704 (departing at 0952hrs).

If I look on my iPhone it shows that same flight on the same date for $747!

Why the almost $400 swing upwards? Why is it different depending on which device I'm looking at the app on? I am logged in on both...
