This sounds very odd. Can I ask whether you've tried using the online form for claiming missing TPs and Avios?
Also, if you call the silver line why don't you ask them to confirm your ticket number for your return flight. You can then compare it to the details on checkmytrip.com.
Finally, with whom did you make this booking and why don't you have some form of receipt? Some credit/charge cards also show the ticket number in the details section so if you used a credit/charge card it might be worth checking your statement online to see whether you can see a ticket number in there.
