Sometimes I "skip the lines and just walk right up", but it's when the priority (whether that's a separate or combined 1/2) lines are empty, and I just stick myself right in there. Sometimes people don't seem to want to let it happen, in which case, I hold back, and tell the gate agent I'm zone 1, and then they tell the others to stand back. But that's the whole "board at your leisure" thing.

The worst I've seen is people arguing that they should get to board first. "I'm Star Gold", etc. I've never seen an SE push through the zone 1 line.

I've been tempted on numerous occasions to tell GAs that they're doing bad jobs. I've had old women with zone 2 on their BP block me from going around them (intentionally), and then insist they board before me, even though zone 2 hasn't been called yet. And honestly, if I didn't think I was going to knock her over, I probably would have pushed past her.

But then I see a very big difference between "I'm zone 1 and you're zone 1 but I should board first" and "I'm zone 1 and you're zone 2 so I should board first".
