A louse is someone who (intentionally or unintentionally) blocks people from boarding when it isn't the louse's turn yet.
Interesting, I had just attributed it to the people who stand as close as they can to the boarding gates until someone decides to start forming a line. I suppose in that case I'm not.

I can absolutely understand that - I do SFO every 2-3 months, and I hate the AC lines there. It's bad enough when it's a shared Zone 1/2 line, but I tend to glimpse at the boarding passes people are holding and I've seen several Zone 3/4/5 people standing in front or behind me.
If I do glimpse at someone's card and see they're a Zone 2+, when they start priority boarding I politely ask the person in front of me if they're Zone 1. Normally, they say no and I can move ahead of them.
MCO was a mess last week - I was at the front of the line when they called for Zone 1, and as I was boarding here were around 15-20 people behind me just standing still. The other Zone 1's behind them did actually have to push their way through.

I guess that I've been lucky not to see that - other than a few people who seem to skip the lines and just walk right up. Which airport/flights do you see this happening the most on?
