The 717 designation was used before. I forgot what plane it was. Was it similar to the 707 and made for the USAF?

Boeing also made the 720, a shorter range and smaller version 4 engine plane, that shared some parts with the 707.

If the A300 and A310 is relaunched, it could conceivably be named the A350 and A360.
