I am setting up a trip for my + BF to visit the park in early June!

Plan: Fly out of Seattle early Saturday, get to Anchorage mid morning, pick up rental car, drive up to Healy, collapse, use hotel at Healy as base of operations for a few days. Look for wildlife! Hikings. Leave car at park entrance and take shuttles? Or drive to end of paved area and then park/shuttle?

Tuesday-Friday (6/7-6/10), drive to and stay at Teklanika. Get Tek camp pass to Wonderlake, go hiking, etc. Hope mountain is visible.

Pack up camp Friday, drive back to Healy, stay Saturday night/shower, then in the morning drive back down to Anchorage and catch flight.

Does this seem ok? What kind of rental car should we get? Chains...? I think we need a shuttle pass for each day that we are not camping to use the buses? Should we get mosquito hats? I've only done summer camping, so not sure what we need warmth wise: still need to pick out tent + sleeping bags, suggestions? If we want to daycamp with food, is that alright, or do we need to have some sort of bearproof canister when dayhiking?
