My understanding has always been that all those who paid (whether in money or miles) to be in F get absolutely equal treatment. Those there by op-up in a full cabin may be given last choice on menu items, but it my experience (albeit a little dated now) that was very rarely an issue.
They usually take pre-orders from passengers and let them eat whenever they like... So "last choice" is a concept usually not applicable to F...
And with relatively rich offering it's really rare to run out of selection in F...
