Some US terminals seem to have an issue with Amex emv contactless. Staples and Jamba Juice come to mind.
Not anymore for Staples. Equinox is forcing a fix for this in a few days. The ViVOpay 4800's jamba uses should work fine with EMV AMEX cards even in MSD mode.
