Just after some help with fees/taxes for a DONE 4 from Johannesburg. I get the following from the online booking tool. First segment is with BA to London.

Please could someone tell me what the ZAR 8,690 Airline Insurance Surcharge relates to. Is this because BA is the first segment, any ways around this. In 2009 I booked through AA Mindpearl but I understand that is no longer an option?
