There appears to be some excellent advice in this thread about the best ways to exchange currency at the best exchange rates while paying as little in fees as possible.

Of course, it does not help that the exchange rate between the United States dollar and the Euro is currently unfavorable to Americans.

Does anyone have any additional information that would make this three-year-old thread current?
