Hi, first post, thanks in advance for help.

I'm currently a Delta Platinum medallion, and will begin traveling monthly to SFO from NYC and 4-6x a year to Singapore, Jakarta, and Dehli for work.

Really not sure whether I should switch from Delta to United. It seems United has better routes and partners to the locations I'll be traveling to, but I'm not sure how partner intl travel works as I haven't done it much before.

My priorities are: shorter routes, access to comfortable seats, good flight amenities, and lounge access. Newark for United vs. JFK for Delta isn't a big deal to me.

If I stay with Delta, I'd likely upgrade my Delta Amex to Reserve level and would get similar card for United. Also, would start a Premier statusmatch with United to get Premiere Platinum.
