I have shopped Rocketmiles but never bought. I do not think Rocketmiles offers the lowest room rates, and the small dollop of miles they offer has less utility than lower rates available elsewhere.

Anyone engineering a new proposition like this ought to keep in mind that miles utility is in decline, as is their attractiveness as a come-on to consumers when offered in little clumps.
