"As part of a $23 million renovation that begins this month, the Baton Rouge Marriott is planning to overhaul its restaurant and bar area. Hotel manager Ralph Ney says details are still being finalized, but plans call for partnering with a third-party operator or outside chef to develop a destination restaurant with an oyster bar and upscale wine list.“It’s going to be an extensive renovation,” he says. “We’ll also be creating a new entrance for the restaurant.”
