I thought the Embraer aircraft use pre-recorded audio for the safety briefing. Typically the flight attendants will accompany this with the seat belt and oxygen mask demonstrations. Perhaps that's what OP meant; that the FAs didn't do the additional demos along with the pre-recorded audio?
Of course this requires the FA to actually hit play on the audio.
Lately the FA's haven't even cared enough to play the AA one, we've gotten the one that says thanks for flying United Express or whatever.
