Not really related to travel, but at an airport, just the same.

I had a brand new cell phone about 2 years ago, and I was sitting on the rocks at the end of Runway 25R at HKG watching planes, when the darn phone fell out of my pocket and into the rocks below... poor thing - wasn't broken or anything. I called myself using my friend's phone, and it rang - alas, what a lonely death.
