I have found there is more availability in Y and J now. BA guarantee 2 seats in Y and J on every flight 355 days out, and anecdotally at least I think availability pops up more often at other times. (F is another matter, but they only have 8-14 seats to play with so I suppose that's understandable). I suspect we will see availability increase over time as well, as members' Avios balances increase slower and decrease faster.
