My experiences with other airlines is a 'strictly' personal document (with barcode etc.) but if it is, in essence the same I am happy to hear that!
As long as you have evidence of a ticket for a confirmed flight out you'll be fine. That includes having the ticket number on an itinerary/receipt type document.
I have entered China with US Airways award tickets - they had the itinerary on one page and a tiny ticket number on the second page. I highlighted the outbound flight from China and the ticket number with a yellow marker and immigration was happy with that.
