Can you confirm that CX does not compensate or compensate with 10% discount coupon for poor service or broken J seat. Broken IFE on 14 hour flight?

BTW, WestJet does compensate not as much as United but more than AC 10% discount code on base fare only.
I can confirm that. For a broken J seat (where J was sold out), they moved me to W (on HKGSFO), and gave me a 1 class upgrade voucher + 10k Asia Miles
