I booked a flight SEA-EWR-ZFV for my Mom and I. To get on the UA upgrade list, the reservation had to be split. We didn't get upgraded which is fine, but when we got to Amtrak at EWR only I could get my ticket since I have a credit card and she was removed from my reservation.

My Mom did not have a credit card, so she could not get her ticket via the kiosk. We tried for a good 30 minutes every which way.
