It is with great pleasure that I announce the finest Boston Do of the new year, the January 28 Boston Do. My brother has assured me that his wife is not pregnant, so I even get to attend this one!

The Winter Do has to be an indoors one and, since most restaurants charge an arm and a leg to get a room, we have hosted this one in Brookline the past few years. The plus side is that we are about a 3 minute walk from the green line (C-train, Washington Square stop) and, if you don't have an Uber, Lyft, Fasten, etc. account, there are more than a few people who would be happy to refer you so you get a free first ride (I'm looking at you, ZapperO!). I'll send out my address closer to the Do.

For those of you who are new to the Do, they are very, very, very casual. We always have a good mix of newbies and old-timers, so you are very welcome. Just remember to bring a notepad, because remember: What you learn at the Do stays at the Do.

As everyone knows, you are not required to bring anything (These are usually potluck with pizza.) but, if you are planning to do so, please list it or PM me so we don't get too much of anything (MM, you've got the beer.).
