I have to confess that I haven't looked into Rocketmiles and Pointshound very carefully and haven't used them at all yet. But one thing that dissuades me is the possibility of not having status recognized, not getting hotel program points credited, not getting status upgrades, etc. the way I would if booking directly through the hotel program. If you're new company could eliminate such problems, it would be at a distinct advantage compared to the competition.
