Sorry if I misrepresented your previous post. I did in fact understand it exactly that way.

Still, I want to bring across the point that more users of an F lounge does not necessarily mean lower quality of the experience. I do agree that stuffing more people in the existing lounge would deteriorate the experience and in the case of CDG would be highly unpractical. I do agree that within the current setup of real estate, staff, the currently devoted financial means and the (non-)appetite to spend much more on it is impossible to offer the same Premiere experience to many more people.

My point was: AF could of course offer the same kind of experience to many more passengers. All it takes is more money to build larger lounges in both 2E and 2F, hire and train more staff for the service, etc. And the same is true for BA: they could provide a much more exclusive service if they wanted. LHLXOS show that it's possible. Just a matter of how much money the airline is prepared to throw at this "problem" and the (sometimes formidable) challenges of real estate and scaling up a high touch service.

Where we agree is that they most probably won't do it. BA doesn't have the mindset to offer something outstandingly luxurious to its GGLs (nor to its F pax for that matter), and AF most probably won't do it either.
