New York IDs are on that list so I've wondered about this as well. According to the TSA website, you can use your Global Entry card. Nice. Next time I fly, I'm going to try it.

I know the new rules aren't in place yet but might as well give it a shot (bring your DL as backup!). I suspect it's not as well known so might encounter some resistance.
