Shell won't work with Apple Pay or a bank supported Android Pay card, only the grandfathered card, which will go away at some point. So it won't work for most people. Also the people who actually install the systems at gas stations leave the Contactless turned on and often it works besides at Shell which is a merchant services provider issue.
