We've stayed there twice. It's a stunning property. You arrive thru the vineyards and there is this mesmerizing structure, meant to look like a champagne cork popping. The metal ribbons of the hotel mirror the pictures of the foil curling away from the cork. Service - eh. Rooms - well, they have to be fit inside a Frank Gehry structure. But there is magic in finding different places to sit in and out of the hotel, seeing this architectural marvel. On our first visit, we had come from seeing the Gehry designed Guggenheim museum in Bilbao. This structure is more enthralling, at least for me. The hotel restaurant has a Michelin one star rating.
