I can second Posada Del Angel as a great option in Antigua. We stayed for unfortunately just one night in April 2015 and thought it was great. It is very much a boutique property but the rooms are very comfortable, the setting stunning and the staff couldn't do enough to help. They arranged very efficient transport to and from Guatemala City airport as well for us. For dinner, I would also recommend Meson Panza Verde which is just round the corner from Posada Del Angel as well
