Do BA hate their CE passengers at AMS?
Check-in at schiphol was a disaster. Although the Club queue was shorter there was only one desk in use, so economy passengers at the end of the queue when we arrived were processed faster. A family of 4 in our queue took nearly 15 mins to process, while the assistant at the other club desk chatted to colleagues, stretched her legs, and refused to serve the woman in front of us, telling her to rejoin the queue. But then a passenger from the economy queue walked over to her, past the other club desk, she served him immediately. Next in line, I asked politely why she'd served the faster moving economy queue when the club queue had passengers who'd been waiting over 20 minutes. She replied that she didn't distinguish between classes of passengers.
Fast track security took longer than the other queues. A member of staff was directing non-fast track passengers to multiple scanners but we were ignored.
The club lounge has been cleared of rubbish now but wasn't good when we finally arrived after walking for about 15 mins. The food offering is very poor.
Staff have been begrudging at every step.
Flying CE from AMS just isn't worth it, and if I fly BA from here again I'll choose the premium class : economy.
